DIRTT Environmental Solutions Ltd. is an unconventional company (this is a term we use in polite circles). We have no HR Department. Instead we run a Talent Agency, where people, known lovingly as DIRTTBags, don't face lengthy policies, procedures or forms. What they do find is a highly motivated group of individuals who embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of DIRTT. Everyone is hands-on, regardless of position. We celebrate our successes together. Parts Department Supervisor
Location - Calgary Head Office
DIRTT is looking for a Parts Department Supervisor to join our team!
In this position, you will liaise with various departments to ensure product is available while keeping inventory down.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- Unparalleled customer service, both internal and external
- Recruitment, selection, and development of staff.
- Management of large numbers of parts and sub-assemblies.
- Process development, maintenance and improvement
- Proactively manage and implement health and safety initiatives.
- Liaise closely with Product Development and Manufacturing to ensure Quality Control.
- Active participant in supply chain management strategy.
- Materials requirement planning, capacity requirement planning, production activity control, inventory control, statistics and total quality management activities.
- Reduce costs and spending by controlling inventory levels and process improvement.
Requirements:
- Obsessive attention to detail
- 5 years successful progressive management experience, manufacturing parts experience preferred.
- MS Office and data base skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Proven cost reduction experience.
- Proven record of both people and process management.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to think logically, analytically and solve problems.
- Ability to work with daily/monthly deadlines and time constraints on an ongoing basis.

Production Supervisor
Location -Savannah, GA
Who is the ideal Production Supervisor at DIRTT Savannah? You find solutions to problems, work on the floor with the team and you build relationship as the liaison between various departments. You ensure efficient production work flow, time frames and quality standards are maintained and exceeded because you know the bar keeps getting higher with each success story. You are versatile, flexible, have a strong voice and speak up because you believe in and care about what we’re doing. You don’t hesitate to make changes right now if it improves the process. You insist on a clean, efficient, ergonomic work place and know how to create and maintain it. You operate production machinery including CNC equipment, know how to troubleshoot and correct problems in the process and are skilled in all phases of manufacturing and machinery. You are hands-on much more than not, yet you are able to strategize and have the big picture in mind, always.
This is a functional supervisory position and requires a team-builder, a decision-maker and someone with drive, spirit and gumption! Required Assets:
- Proven leadership skills – people skills, strategic thinker, acute business sense.
- Post secondary education.
- 10 years progressive leadership experience
- You have worked in many different departments and have a well rounded understanding for a business from manufacturing, production finance and sales/marketing
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for custom products
- MS Office and data base skills.

- Proven ability to be accountable for the financial aspects of manufacturing.
